Our Goal
At K ZONE HITTING, our goal is not only to instruct in the mechanics of hitting, but also encourage a fundamental understanding of the movements involved in hitting and their purpose. We also believe it is important that our clients understand the philosophy of the art of hitting.. For our younger clients we deeply encourage parents to also be involved in the educational process. We want the whole family to understand the nuances of hitting and how it's done correctly. This will allow the family members to give immediate feedback to their player at times when our instructors aren't present.
HOW K ZONE IS DIFFERENT
At K ZONE all too often we hear our clients tell us about other "instructors" they've had in the past that would charge them $50, $70 or even $90 per hour to simply flip balls to them, giving them little or no actual feedback or instruction. At K ZONE, our costs are a fraction of others and in addition to instruction, we provide a video analysis for each session. We also encourage our clients to video tape at bats during their games so they can be analyzed later. We find that players often alter their swing in the heat of the game from what it was in the low pressure environment of practice. Many players, especially our younger clients are not aware of the less than optimal movements in their swing until they see themselves on video.
